Dr. Patrick Schmidt asking us to check our assumptions as we think through responding to the other.
Mrs Gordon and St George Elementary can to Western to hang out with the  Intro sections. Pizza and musicking! We each have a pen pal and will be writing letters to each other.
Here we are busy writing letters to our new pen pals! Looking forward to responding to their letters!

Our pen pals hard at work, as well

This was a powerful discussion today in class. Each person in this group listened so carefully to each other as they worked back through 3 questions beginning with:
What does it mean to be a human?
Based on that thinking, what  is the purpose of education?
Based on that thinking, what is the purpose of music education?

Informal musicking with the guidance of Dr. Ruth Wright! Great music! And care and joy filled working together!
