Summer 2019
(The summer of our first graduating Level III class)

As part of our Level II requirements participants researched an area of their choice.

Each participant chose a culture/area/practice they wanted to research in-depth. In each of the projects students include on-line websites, resources to be incorporated in lesson plans, details of the particular context, issues we need to consider (and of which we should be considerate: ethical issues), as well as other helpful information for teachers who are interested in bringing these musics and ways of thinking into their classrooms.

These are AMAZING projects they are sharing with everyone.

Please do look over their work and incorporate these musics and information into your own practice
Keli Brewer: A Sample of Cape Breton Music
Danielle Sirek: Grenadian Music
Nancy Breau: Arabic Songs from the Middle East
Allison Luff: Chilean New Song Movement (1960-1973)

Sara Joy: Spain
Ngarmta Nandakwang (Ing): Thailand
